Dorms are where students sleep, but also where they may choose to do homework, socialize, or just relax. That is why having the right dorm is important to all students' comfort and success at school.
At Rhodes Academy, we have a unique dorm organization. Boys's dorms are on the North side of the school, and girl's on the South side. Each room houses six to eight students, of two seperate years, the older students mentoring the younger ones. First years have the opportunity to request being sorted into dorms with friends or family, as long as they are within the same year or in 4th year. Then all remaining students are sorted by a unique fashion according to personality into rooms.
First years room with 4th years, and will remain with the same roommates until their 3rd year, when their mentors graduate. The following year, they will mentor incoming first years.
